  • Develops and maintains a detailed knowledge of clients' business and service needs through ongoing contact and on-site account visits as appropriate.
  • Establishes an effective relationship with key contacts authorized to make decisions. Promotes an effective and successful relationship with Brokers / Producers. Acts as liaison between external clients and internal departments to resolve service issues.
  • Documents and maintains critical account management information. Reports to Zone Leaders providing regular feedback on all account activity, including status and call reports.
  • Identifies service problems, program trends, develops and delivers solutions to the client within timeframes that meet and/or exceed expectations.
  • Participates in new business service presentations and annual stewardship meetings to provide appropriate communication of available service platforms and program performance.
  • Participates in renewal meetings with the clients to solicit feedback relative to service expectations and results. Ensures accurate and timely completion of client requests.
  • Assists with account receivables, collections, and other accounting matters as necessary.
  • Interfaces with internal MSMM departments as needed to fulfill client requests and share client service feedback. Documents all client-related claim service requests utilizing Special Claim Instructions.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred.
  • 5+ years of prior large account management experience including sales, marketing and servicing property and casualty insurance-related accounts is required including basic knowledge of P&C Claims.
  • Same day and overnight travel required (up to 15%)
