Our outstanding client is hiring an claims assistant to work on a commercial claims team. This position uses technology, organization and administration to support an claims team that handles commercial general liability, bodily injury and property claims.
This job is for someone that enjoys working on a team and assisting adjusters in taking care of the claimants while maintaining administrative order for the team.
- Filing claims and claim activities in central storage.
- Check for accuracy of all claims data.
- Maintain accounts log.
- Assist with all communications as needed including phones, emails and faxes.
- Scan and organize claims documents.
- Outstanding customer service skills!
- Work with all mail (FedEx, UPS, Certified)
- Work closely with the claim’s manager on special projects.
- Highschool Diploma
- Computer Skills
- 1 plus year of claims assistant experience
- Commercial insurance a plus.
- Ability to work in a team
