Our client is searching for an experienced Workers Compensation Claims Supervisor to join their team in Albany NY.
Responsibilities
• Will oversee the handling of all aspects of the claims assigned to the unit including reserving, communication, documentation, evaluation, negotiation and settlement
• Ensure claim processing is consistent with applicable policies, procedures and department guidelines
• Prepare regular periodic reports and monitor system reports to ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory standards
• Manage personnel administration including employee evaluations and salary administration
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• 7+ years’ experience in workers compensation insurance industry
• Leadership skills: ability to plan, organize and delegate
