Job Overview:
We are currently in search of a dedicated Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to join our team. This role carries significant responsibility in advising clients and efficiently overseeing complex commercial lines accounts. It presents an excellent opportunity for a technically proficient professional with hands-on experience in the insurance industry to advance their career within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.

Responsibilities & Duties:
• Present renewals of direct bill policies to clients and diligently follow up for timely payments.
• Verify the accuracy of policies to ensure compliance.
• Issue certificates of insurance promptly.
• Process endorsements efficiently.
• Assist in the preparation of client proposals, contributing to the growth of our business.
• Evaluate the insurability and risk quality of potential insurance prospects through prequalification.
• Stay well-informed about carrier and wholesaler preferences, providing valuable recommendations during the marketing process.
• Develop customized insurance programs and offer coverage recommendations based on individual risk characteristics.
• Prepare and submit complete, error-free insurance applications, along with related submission documentation, to carriers.
• Contribute to sales presentations for both prospective and existing clients, focusing on new business and renewals.
• Provide clear explanations of coverage and exclusions to clients and meticulously document these interactions in our agency management system.
• Conduct routine reviews of existing accounts/policies, ensuring comprehensive coverage and addressing any changes in exposure.
• Assess operational processes and procedures, offering recommendations for enhanced efficiency and improved client service.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, including account executive roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, encompassing Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Possession of a valid Property and Casualty Insurance license.
• Familiarity with Applied Epic software is a valuable asset.
