Job Overview:
We are currently in search of a dedicated Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to join our team. This role carries significant responsibility in advising clients and efficiently overseeing complex commercial lines accounts. Responsibilities & Duties:
• Present renewals of direct bill policies to clients and diligently follow up for timely payments.
• Verify the accuracy of policies to ensure compliance.
• Issue certificates of insurance promptly.
• Process endorsements efficiently.
• Assist in the preparation of client proposals, contributing to the growth of our business.
• Evaluate the insurability and risk quality of potential insurance prospects through prequalification.
• Stay well-informed about carrier and wholesaler preferences, providing valuable recommendations during the marketing process.
• Develop customized insurance programs and offer coverage recommendations based on individual risk characteristics.
• Prepare and submit complete, error-free insurance applications, along with related submission documentation, to carriers.
• Contribute to sales presentations for both prospective and existing clients, focusing on new business and renewals.
• Provide clear explanations of coverage and exclusions to clients and meticulously document these interactions in our agency management system.
• Conduct routine reviews of existing accounts/policies, ensuring comprehensive coverage and addressing any changes in exposure.
• Assess operational processes and procedures, offering recommendations for enhanced efficiency and improved client service.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, including account executive roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, encompassing Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Possession of a valid Property and Casualty Insurance license.
• Familiarity with Applied Epic software is a valuable asset.
