Job Overview:
We are actively seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in our organization, where the candidate will be entrusted with advising clients and skillfully managing complex commercial lines accounts. Responsibilities & Duties:
• Assess the insurability and risk quality of potential insurance prospects through prequalification.
• Stay well-informed about carrier and wholesaler preferences and provide valuable recommendations during the marketing process.
• Formulate tailored insurance programs and offer coverage suggestions to clients based on their unique risk profiles.
• Compile meticulous and complete insurance applications, along with associated submission documentation, for presentation to carriers.
• Collaborate in sales presentations, both for prospective and existing clients, focusing on new business and renewals.
• Provide comprehensive explanations of coverage and exclusions to clients, and meticulously document these interactions in our agency management system.
• Conduct periodic reviews of existing accounts and policies, ensuring comprehensive coverage and addressing any changes in exposure.
• Evaluate operational processes and procedures, offering recommendations for enhanced efficiency and improved client service.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong background in account executive roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Possession of a valid Property and Casualty Insurance license.
• Familiarity with Applied Epic software is a beneficial asset.
