Adjuster Assistant-Work Comp Claims Team Assistant-Temp to Perm OR PERM

Florida based TPA looking for:    WORKERS COMPENSATION CLAIMS TEAM ASSISTANT 

You will provide support to Claims Adjusters/Nurse Case Managers/Supervisors/Assistant Claims Manager/Claims Managers 

Must obtain Florida All Lines adjusters license within 30 of hire if not currently licensed

Temp to Perm OR PERM in Sarasota, FL Claims   OfficeTraining and work will be in the office in Sarasota, FL and will observe all COVID protocols 

1. Based on Experience, Hourly for Temp to Perm is $16-$19 per hour and after only 120 calendar days of temp work, for selected candidate will go PERM with medical benefits

Client will provide an employment package that includes 401k plan with match, a flexible benefits program: Vacation and Sick days, dental, vision and major medical coverage, once job becomes Perm

2. Based on Experience, Salary for PERM is $33K to $39,500

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
 Maintain diary and workflow requirements
 Prepare, copy, and mail State required forms and letters
 Electronically compile documents for Excess Reports
 Handle Bill Status Calls
 Complete index inquiry forms
 Copy and mail OJCC responses
 Prepare and send DWC-25’s, DWC-19’s, and DWC-14’s
 Request police reports as requested

Basic Skills and Knowledge Needed:

 Working knowledge of current workers’ compensation statutes and company policy and procedure
 Medical terminology
 Data entry skills
 Excellent telephone skills

Proficient with: AIM 2.0; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; IDatix; Copy Machine; Printer; and ShoreTe

**Must be licensed within 30 days of hire if not currently licensed and will be required attend Seminars for obtaining CEU credits when licensed**
