Calling all collaborative knowledge seeking Accountants (2) who possess a Bachelor’s Degree/emphasizing Accounting AND 2 years Professional Accounting (or relevant) Experience.

For those with a knowledge/background in commercial insurance terminology, concepts, practices, etc. in this position you possess the following REQUIREMENTS:

· Provide support to the company’s financial statements by performing general accounting work, analysis, and detailed reporting. You are attentive to details, possess advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.

· Responsible to prepare asset, liability, capital and reinsurance account entries by compiling and analyzing account information and explaining variances.

· Maintain general accounting records, performs complex reconciliations and various analyses, assists with month-end close, and completing complex bank reconciliations.

· Experienced in managing large datasets, advance Excel functions/formulas, MS Office products,, Company financial systems

A++ Experience with PeopleSoft or other enterprise system applications a plus.

A++ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus but not required

A++ Experience in the insurance industry (CPCU preferred but not required

You will report in to the Sarasota office, and will be eligible for 2 days per week WFH after initial training  *If Temp Only position, it would require you to be in the office full time.

Salary based on experience, up to $65k.
