SUMMARY


Responsible for managing phone system and handling inbound/outbound calls while providing guidance, education, customer service and support.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Manages phone system and conducts outbound calls and answers all incoming calls promptly and professionally.


Provides education on benefits and insurance products.


Identifies and responds to routine questions or problems in a manner that meets or exceeds client and company specific service level standards.


Conducts research and problem solves to provide answers for customers to resolve issues.


Returns emails and letter correspondence promptly.


Thoroughly documents all aspects of issues consistently in a timely manner following department standards.


Files all paper and electronic documents according to department standards.


Assists in the development of client related documentation in a consistent format.


Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.


Performs other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE


High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience


Related Work experience


Valid Insurance License


Life, Health, Accident and HMO


SKILLS


Excellent verbal and written communications skills


Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills


Organized planner with time management/prioritization skills


Ability to learn/troubleshoot new systems


Ability to understand Employee Benefit compliance concepts and requirements


Intermediate computer skills


Proficient in Microsoft Office products
