Responsibilities

  • Oversee Company's Learning & Development department.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify the company's training needs and learning objectives.
  • Plan, design, implement and manage L&D training programs.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of L&D programs and use evaluation data to recommend changes.
  • Regularly shadows department trainers to identify training needs and to help keep training consistent.
  • Review company trainer performance and recommend improvements to program content and/or instructor presentation method.
  • Direct oversight and training of department instructors.
  • Help develop an e-learning and LMS platform.
  • Coordinate and be accountable for yearly compliance trainings.
Qualifications

  • Must possess up-to-date knowledge of best practices in organization learning.
  • Strong instructional and curriculum design skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to assess training needs and develop tailored programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinking and innovative approach to training.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing business needs.
  • Proficiency is designing effective learning experiences using various methodologies such as ADDIE and SAM.
  • Understanding of current trends in L&D such as microlearning and gamification.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, or another related field.
  • 8-12 years' experience in designing and delivering training programs.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of training evaluation techniques and metrics.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLC), Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD), Learning and Performance Institute Certifications (LPI), etc.
  • The successful candidate is expected to work in one of our offices 3 days per week and also be available for travel as required.
