Job Overview: LMI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Alignment Director to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the relationship with the enterprise alignment organization and ensuring cohesive goal setting, strategy implementation, and operational excellence. The Business Alignment Director will work closely with the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) on LMI governance structures and processes, and act as Chief of Staff for quarterly meetings with Business Enablement & Talent teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Relationship Management:
- Drive cross-business unit engagement and coordination with business unit teams, functional partners, and corporate groups to support key strategic priorities for the broader organization (e.g. disruption, trade-off discussions, etc.)
- Be the liaison between Cross Business Unit teams, functional partners and corporate groups to encourage effective collaboration and improve end to end processes and delivery
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships across the enterprise to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor overall cross-business strategic priorities and our progress against key goals; Pro-activelyraise critical -issues or opportunities to improve cross-business performance
- Lead the development and implementation of business goals in alignment with LMI's strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to translate strategic plans into actionable goals for performance and growth.
- Measurement and Analytics: Develop and implement comprehensive measurement strategies to track progress toward business objectives. Utilize data and analytics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Engagement Mechanisms: Manage, set, and coordinate engagement mechanisms such as cadences, workshops, and offsites for the LMI leadership team to ensure efficient management and strategic alignment across various business units.
- Oversee the orchestration of enterprise deliverables, ensuring clean timelines and effective project management practices.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
- Executive Presentations: Lead the development of key executive presentations for LMI leadership. This includes structuring, storyboarding, working across the organization to gather insights, ensuring consistency, and developing supporting materials to effectively communicate key messages.
- Partner with the CAO to establish/improve and maintain effective governance structures and processes.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations, and drive process improvements where necessary.
- Act as Chief of Staff for quarterly meetings with Business Enablement & Talent teams.
- Prepare agendas, coordinate meeting logistics, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in business alignment, strategic planning, or a related role.
- Proven track record of driving enterprise-level initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional project management skills, with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment is a plus.
