The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.


Description

The Auto Complex Delivery team is looking for a Sr Analyst or Consultant that will own the end-to-end process of implementing the latest Auto pricing programs in our most complex states. This position offers the opportunity to be a key contributor to improving Auto's profitability and growth and will help shape current and future pricing programs for your states.

*Please note this is a range posting for a Sr Analyst or Consultant, level will be based on experience*

Responsibilities:

  • Fully own and execute on assigned states implementation of the latestAO personal lines program launches
  • Provides thoughtful recommendations that influence state decisions, initiatives and help drive corporate strategy.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for assigned states, workstreams, and cross-functional working groups
  • Serves as point person for high complexity program/state implementations.
  • Leads own workstream on all projects and manages moderate to high complexity projects.
  • Provides complex analysis to help drive and support business decisions.
  • Consults on complex business issues and design considerations.
  • Educates IT partners on business vision and plan, and both IT and business partners on the impact of changes.
  • Analyzes trends and is responsible for tactical and strategic recommendations.
  • Leads job shadow discussions with less experienced analysts. Provides technical training and user support to business groups (across multiple Product lines).
  • May be assigned to mentor a new hire.
  • May supervise interns
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics or Insurance preferred; or equivalent experience
  • Approx 5 or more years related work experience
  • Knowledge of insurance principles and concepts required
  • Advanced analytical/problem solving and research skills
  • Effective communication skills for writing reports/proposals and making presentations
  • Ability to work independently and lead others during projects
  • Knowledge of the business practices and processes
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and data base software
