Job Description
Product Consultant I will be responsible for supporting strategic business decisions by evaluating trends and reporting and monitoring key business metrics. They will apply business knowledge gained in the role to analyze our competitive landscape, execute underwriting and product changes, and be responsible for completion of projects of moderate complexity.*** The Insurance Product Management Senior Consultant is responsible for the overall financial and health of the product(s) and contributes to achieving profit and growth targets for an insurance product(s). This position will analyze and present complex data and facts to support recommendations on potential initiatives, interacting with other departments in and out of Allstate Personal Lines (APL) Product. ***
Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in coordinated efforts across the organization to facilitate the implementation of basic to moderate initiatives (including product, pricing, contract, and underwriting
With some guidance, develop storylining and presentations to effectively communicate results of research, projects, and analysis
With some guidance, leverage various data sources and applications to retrieve, conduct research, manipulate data, and build reports
Develop understanding of the P&L and key insurance metrics to identify emerging trends to inform product management teams
Contribute to a supportive team environment, enabling quality team interactions and deliverables (e.g., develop trust within team, reinforce and apply team expectations, appropriately challenge team members and peers, celebrate success and learnings)
Build business partnerships by demonstrating knowledge and understanding of customer needs and other internal/external partners
Provide basic to moderate technical guidance; simplify difficult concepts for non-technical users
With guidance, participates in the evaluation of procedures and processes regularly make observations or suggests improvements
Education4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience2 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Compensation offered for this role is $59,800.00 - 105,910.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
