Introduction

The Practice Group Senior Marketing Manager works to create and activate marketing strategies, thought leadership and campaigns for specific industry specializations in support of the GGB US and global Practice Groups. The Practice Group Senior Marketing Manager reports to the GGB Americas Practice Marketing Leader and focuses primarily on driving organic growth opportunities by creating marketing strategies and campaigns in support of identified marketing, sales and practice goals. The Practice Group Senior Marketing Manager will work closely with the Practice Managing Directors (MDs) to provide strategies and oversight of measurable marketing activities and programs, including lead generation campaigns, webinars, owned and paid advertising and thought leadership development. The Practice Group Senior Marketing Manager will work closely with GGB US Marketing Coordinator and also liaise with Practice Marketing teams in the U.S. and internationally to explore ways to more broadly leverage Global practice initiatives and content across other Gallagher regions.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will bring enthusiasm and creative ideas for B2B marketing strategies, while supporting Divisional initiatives. Being a strong, service-oriented relationship builder and strategic thinker will be critical. Strong organizational and management skills, coupled with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are required.


How you'll make an impact

  • Manage GGB practice marketing strategies in support of select Practice MD's growth goals
  • Oversight of practice marketing campaigns in support of National and Global marketing/sales plans and goals with quarterly reporting/analysis for Leadership
  • Provide strategic guidance and consult on industry-specific campaign strategies and briefs
  • Work closely with the dedicated GGB US Marketing Coordinator to ensure that campaigns, thought leadership and other marketing-related items are developed and executed according to the plan
  • Explore and apply the use of proprietary and secondary data sources in developing targeted marketing campaigns
  • Track and measure effectiveness of marketing efforts in driving sales, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency of corporate standards for all related marketing initiatives
  • Promote cross-marketing opportunities - encourage greater learning, communication and sharing of ideas across the Gallagher marketing community
  • Other duties as assigned by Gallagher Marketing Leadership

About you

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing communications or similar field and 7 years related experience.

Highly Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field and 5-7 years of P&C insurance marketing experience
  • Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with SalesForce a plus
  • This position may require occasional travel in accordance with Gallagher travel policy
  • Proven record of successful client management/relationship building
  • Experience leading marketing projects and teams that resulted in increased brand visibility and sales leads
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills
  • Experience running integrated digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including paid, earned and owned media channels
  • Experience creating annual marketing plans
