Claims Examiner-General Liability

Claims Examiner-General Liability To 100K(DOE), East Coast or Midwest/Remote 

National specialty carrier is seeking a General Liability Claims Examiner to join a dedicated team, managing the claims process for roughly 120 files, general liability and some commercial auto. National accounts. Settlement authority to 125K. Minimum 5 years of carrier claims handling, including reserves, subrogation, litigation, meditations. Position can be a remote work arrangement with 20% travel for mediations. A mix of carrier/tpa experience will also be considered. College degree preferred. Excellent customer and negotiation skills demonstrating a confident and professional disposition. Well-developed communication skills including sound report writing and attention to detail. Strong organizational, decision making and time management skills. Base salary to 100K(DOE), bonus eligible, benefits package.
