Job Details

We are seeking bilingual (Spanish/English) Casualty Claims Managers (Bodily Injury) to support significant and ongoing expansion of our business.  This is a fully remote (work from home) position.

This position will oversee Auto Bodily Injury Adjusters handling personal lines automobile claims. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, mentoring, and developing direct reports, reviewing claim files on a daily basis to provide necessary direction and assure claims are consistently handled within the guidelines set forth by DMA and our Clients, assuring all state regulations are adhered to, effectively communicating with DMA’s Clients, and at all times, delivering superior claims service and team results.  

Responsibilities specific to assigned accounts include being the primary point of contact for our Clients and leading weekly Client meetings to discuss staffing, results, etc.      

The successful candidate will be a high performing Claims professional that is decidedly customer focused, comfortable working in a metrics driven work environment, and accepts responsibility for both their own results and those of their team.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Active Texas or Arizona or New Mexico ‘Resident State’ Adjuster’s License
  • Minimum of 3-years supervising Claims Adjusters handling personal lines Bodily Injury claims
  • Ability to lead and motivate others to achieve expected results
  • Superior customer service skills coupled with an honest desire to help customers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to train, mentor, and develop team members    
  • Capable of professionally communicating with both internal and external customers
  • Math skills with proficiency in analyzing claim reports and data
  • Willingness to be heavily involved in claim files, and provide consistent and ongoing meaningful direction to direct reports  
  • Capacity to identify root cause issues related to staff performance, analyze trends related to inventory management, and implement corrective action plans when necessary
  • Ability to be objective and professional when involved in conflict resolution with customers and Clients
  • Solid problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet assigned goals, objectives, and deadlines
  • Proficiency with computers, including automated claims systems
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Management style of leading and mentoring direct reports to help them be successful
  • Typing skills of 40+ words per minute

 

Preferred Attributes:
 

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree is a plus
