Director of Employee Benefits

This Director of Employee Benefits position will manage the Benefits Department for this expanding & growing Independent Insurance Agency.  Person's goal is to improve retention & growth to meet the broker's goals.  The Benefits Division is a quickly growing division & is seeking candidate with entrepreneurial spirt, client-facing & superior client management skills.  They key to getting an interview for this position is having Self-Funded Experience.  This is a great opportunity for an  Experienced Manager, Senior Account Manager, Team Lead or person ready to elevate their career to a more challenging and financially rewarding position.  Position is Bonus Eligible.

THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION THAT REQUIRES 2 DAYS IN OUR NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS OFFICE.  NOT 100% REMOTE.

Requirements of Director of Employee Benefits:

• 5-15 years of Employee Benefits Experience with an Independent Agency Required
• Prior or Current Management Experience in Employee Benefits Required
• Experience handling Complex Groups (Mid-Sized & Larger Groups)
• Must have Active Illinois Producer's License in Life & Health
• Must have Prior Management or Team Lead Experience to qualify
• Must have Self-Funded Experience to qualify for this position.  Any Captive Experience a Plus
• Strong client-facing skills
• Looking for entrepreneurial spirit, proactive client engagement type person
