Commercial Insurance Producer – Construction – Houston based

Welling Young, LLC has teamed up with a rapidly growing, vertically focused independent retail agency based out of Dallas. This client has a national presence with massive growth in their Construction vertical. They’re searching for talented Producers in the Houston marketplace to bring in their expertise to help shape and build out this vertical further.

You can build a large book of business with the assistance of a dedicated back-office support team to make sure every client is taken care of. Additionally, there’s huge potential for growth within this organization. You have the ability to grow into future leadership that will make important decisions on how to guide this practice.

This client offers a full 3-year guaranteed Six figure salary, excellent benefits, $1000 a month car allowance, and many other perks. Their splits on commission are 70% year one, 50% year two, and 35%/35% new and renewal year three and on. Requirements

• 3 plus years of Insurance Sales experience preferably in the retail agency space Excellent communication skills both verbally and written Excellent follow up skills The ability to self-manage as this role will be remote A track record of success and attaining production goals Devote your exclusive attention and time during working hours to the business of the Company and perform the duties and responsibilities necessary to produce Net Commissions and Fees on behalf of the Company Create and maintain lead list from various sources Prospect and secure opportunities to provide insurance services Collect, review and provide accurate and thorough submission information to account managers for marketing Assist in soliciting, preparation and review of insurance proposals, policies and renewal information Comply with all state licensing and continuing education requirements necessary to perform your duties
