As an Insurance Sales Associate, you will:

 

  • Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate current and prospective customers about insurance options and products.
  • Identify the needs of prospective customers and market appropriate products and services.
  • Continuously prospect for leads and sales opportunities.
  • Collect premiums and respond promptly to policyholder inquiries and service requests.
  • Maintain accurate records, account for monies collected, and process paperwork as required.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with customers and co-workers. 
  • Assist Agent in establishing and meeting marketing goals, and identifying and supporting local community events.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with commitment to financial success.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development of knowledge and skills.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with customers and co-workers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Agent.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

  • Prior work experience in an insurance, banking, financial services, or retail environment, with proven sales experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree a plus.
  • Possess Property and Casualty license and Life and Health license (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Ability to achieve or exceed performance goals.
  • Exceptional organization, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent work ethic with high standard of punctuality and reliability.
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual Spanish highly preferred Solid computer skills
