Product Compliance Specialist

Our client is a holding company which manages many insurance businesses, including underwriting, claims, appraisal, and sales. This Dallas based, national programs is fast paced and growing. This position is based in Dallas and will be part of a team which assures that our businesses comply with regulatory, tax, product and internal systems requirements.

We are willing to train the right person, who is organized, diligent, and decisive. This position will receive, record, and track regulatory, product and systems changes, as well as assist in administering timely and accurate forms and tax filings for our companies. The candidate must be detailed and analytical, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, plus the potential and desire to grow with us.

Responsibilities:

• Receives insurance circulars, forms, and filing information and communicates changes to business units for approval and direction
• Analyzes ISO Manual to determine proper application of circulars, forms and filing requirements
• Maintains compliance tracking log
• Communicates with insurers, insurance regulators, and regulatory vendors to assure correct action is implemented
• Confirms that all required changes are implemented in the company’s policy management and data tracking systems
• Assures that surplus lines activity meets state deadlines and requirements
• Diligently follows up on all outstanding requests and telephone calls from internal and external customers

Experience

• 10-12 years of experience as an account manager, insurance product manager, or compliance specialist in the insurance industry
• Familiar with ISO Manual and regulatory form, rate and rule filings
• Familiar with surplus lines insurance policy and tax filings
• Familiar with insurance terminology and policy management systems
• Working with Excel, creating and updating spread sheets

Skills
