Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager

About the Role

Join one of the Mid-Atlantic’s largest insurance brokers as a Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager. Due to growth, they have an immediate job opening in their flagship Charlotte, NC office. You’ll be part of the large group team where there is a lot of challenge on a daily basis supporting clients with 100-2,500 employees on renewal preparation, funding analysis, RFPs, education, compliance, and enrollments. 

Job Specs

• Location: Charlotte, NC. Currently, a lot of employees work from home due to Covid. Some have a hybrid schedule with time in the office on a weekly basis. The hybrid schedule is likely to continue to be part of the agency’s post-Covid ‘return to work’ plan.
• Responsibilities: Relationship development with current clients and executing tactical service strategies (RFPs, enrollments, billing, claims, presentations, Excel spreadsheets ,and renewal marketing). They will rely on you to keep action items moving through the process.
• Experience: At least 5-10 years of career experience aligned with employee benefits service and administration. The company has a unique track history of the Client Manager role as a way for experienced professionals in Human Resources, benefits administration, and compliance to transition their careers into insurance. If you haven’t worked for an insurance broker before (or maybe in the industry whatsoever) but have worked with employees to educate them on corporate benefits & health insurance plans, you are encouraged to apply.
