Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

$42,600.00 - $70,400.00

What Is the Opportunity?

Under general supervision, this position reports to the Loss Responsive /Non Funded Manager. The Account analyst is responsible for performing their job with the highest level of professionalism while working and resolving issues related to the billing and collection of Non-Funded Deductibles, as well as providing superior customer service in managing the Non Funded Helpdesk. The Account Service Analyst will resolve issues/disputes and escalate as needed per the escalation process. Responsible for proactively developing a strategy for servicing accounts and the collection of incoming receivables.

What Will You Do?

  • Contact the insured responsible for making payments. Collect amounts billed on assigned accounts.
  • Apply all payments received. Research discrepancies and process disbursements; maintain bill pull list, cash in suspense, cash stops, receivable stops, unapplied offsets, pending DC lists, and payment agreements per the individual processes.
  • Analyze and assess disputes and issues related to accounts which are not paid in a timely fashion.
  • Escalate account issues to management/consultant in accordance with escalation guidelines.
  • Document all collection problem issues and phone calls.
  • Update comments on any research issue, transaction or communication with detailed information including any plan or next step and when a follow up call will be made.
  • Develop strategy for collection of accounts. Discuss issues with manager/consultant as appropriate. Identify problematic accounts and develop a strategy to address the timeliness of incoming receivables.
  • Process disbursements timely and enter into Trex system.
  • Understand the waiver process on assigned accounts. Analyze and provide recommendations for the waiver/write off process and know the difference.
  • Work with business partners to resolve disagreements or answer questions related to claim and marketing issues.
  • Notify Account Executives when active accounts are scheduled to go to RMS.
  • Handling and management of Non Funded Help Desk
  • Reviewing Garage Keeper Claim List reports to verify billing accuracy and request offsets if needed.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for accounts.
  • Review with manager any changes to accounts that are being reviewed to add or delete a bill pull.
  • Review with manager any changes to an account in pending DC before removing from pending DC status.
  • Return Mail: Research return mail for correct addresses and possibly out of business companies. Correct billing address in the system and resend as appropriate or complete request to write off/waive amount due.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What is a Must Have?

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One year of banking, finance, accounting or billing experience required.
