PT Agency Office Assistant

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The purpose of the Agency Office Assistant is to provide administrative support to the sales force, provide customer service to the policyholders, and perform functions required to support the overall district operation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides service to agents and policyholders via telephone calls, emails or in person.
  • Performs various administrative duties such as filing, scanning, entering data, making deposits, answering phones, copying, and other duties assigned.
  • Balances money received on a daily basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or a GED.
  • Up to three years of related experience or equivalent experience (associate degree).

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • May be requested to work overtime and weekends on special projects.

Hourly rate for this position is $14.00 an hour for qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on experience and skill.
