We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Injury Damage or  Segmentation & Assignment/S&A squads in GRM US Claims Technology.

If selected, you will have the opportunity to leverage your skills with cloud-based technology to build tools and solutions used to support new and innovative Personal Lines insurance products for the Auto domain.

Injury Damage squad overview:

As part of our modernizations efforts, the Injury Damage squad is on a mission to enable future capabilities on differentiated systems to create a personalized, automated, and touchless experience for our customers. New investment and focus for this experience will allow us to build a multitude of new cloud native services, to better support a modernized pipeline by transitioning off pieces of our legacy stack and reducing technical debt. As the need for capability-driven strategies increase, the focus for providing a fully automated, touchless claims handling experience is our top priority. This will provide an exceptional opportunity to work with an agile squad to unify a product vision, identify future enabling capabilities, and articulate a robust architectural roadmap to get us there.

Segmentation & Assignment/S&A squad overview:

The Claims Segmentation & Assignment squad is utilized by all 4 lines of business and dedicated to supporting the R3 imperative (right person, right claim, right time), making this domain a critical utility team for the Claims organization. This squad is heavily focused on ensuring we build and maintain capabilities to streamline segmentation logic to allow our adjusters to focus on what really matters, while minimizing cycle time for our customers. This is an exceptional opportunity for a new member to join an innovative team, looking to break down barriers of standard processes to create automation and machine learning as the new backbone to managing claims. Our business partners need the ability to make fast decisions and in response to these ever-changing needs, we need to build platforms which support faster speed to market.

Although the Casualty/Medical line of business constitutes the smallest percentage of volume within the Claims organization, injury claims are one of the most sensitive customer touchpoints we have. In Claims Technology, it is our commitment and opportunity to build flexible systems and applications to better serve our adjusters and improve our medical claims processes

Both are an aggressive goal with the mindset of changing the very way we manage the claims handling process. We are looking to insert some fresh, new perspective and build a pipeline of talented, motivated Engineers to help achieve our goals.
