Senior Vice President Risk Management- PEO

(Hybrid)

Position Summary:

  • Establishes strategy, plans and directs and formulates policies and provides information and recommendations on Risk, Workers Compensation, Loss Control, Claims Management and Underwriting.
  • Identifies emerging exposures and offers solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Drives the use of risk information system applications in data capture, analysis, exposure, coverage and claim elements and controls.
  • Determines risk exposure or potential liability and develops risk control measures.
  • Responsible for strategic leadership, development and management of the organization’s workers’ compensation and employment practices liability insurance, loss control programs, claims management and underwriting processes.
  • Partner with various internal staff, carriers, insurance brokers, attorneys, and third-party administrators to implement and manage workers’ compensation and employment practices liability insurance offerings that provide value to the organization’s clients profitably and efficiently.
  • Responsible for the strategic negotiation, renewal and management of all company insurance policies including, workers’ compensation, employment practices liability and other business programs.
  • Leads and develops team and applies knowledge of workers compensation insurance laws and best practices in risk management, underwriting, safety/loss control, claims advocacy, training, and research/data collection methods, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Property & Casualty Insurance Product Development/Management
  • 10 + years of PEO and Insurance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (required
  • Knowledge of state regulatory environment
  • Thorough knowledge of principles and practices, including relevant experience in property and casualty insurance programs, loss control, claims management and underwriting.
