MAPFRE is seeking dynamic Business Development Representatives to drive profitable growth in their assigned territories. The successful candidates will be independent self-starters who have, or can establish, productive agency relationships, thrive in fast paced environments and have a tenacious desire to succeed.

Position can be at a higher level commensurate with experience. Experience with Commercial Lines a plus. 

Manage agency relations, ensuring that MAPFRE Insurance establishes and maintains the primary position for our automobile lines of business and our strategic position for the other lines of business for each agency in the assigned territory. Negotiate growth and profitability targets and monitor agency progress toward those targets. Prospect assigned territory for agency appointments and book transfers that meet MAPFRE standards. Inform Management of issues that impair agency progress toward these goals. Must stay abreast of Industry issues and report same to Management as warranted.
