Risk Management Consultant

About the Role

Professional consulting organization experienced in solving the risk management and insurance challenges of its clients and implementing creative and cost effective solutions seeks a Risk Management consultant to join their team.

The Risk Management Consultant will provide risk management and insurance independent consulting services to various clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaboration with brokers and other third parties at the ultimate direction of the client
• Insurance marketing initiatives to include market and broker selection, coverage specifications and the compilation of exposure and loss data
• Analyze the insurance marketing results and make placement recommendations to the client
• Complete Policy audits and monitor outstanding policy endorsements
• Review insurance and indemnity language in leases, loan covenants and other third party contracts
• Educate clients on new products and new coverage available as they are introduced into the marketplace
• Allocate annual premiums as required by the client
• Work with lenders and client on acquisition/ divestiture due diligence
• Assist clients with developing internal risk management/ loss control best practices, procedures and protocols
• Report and track claims activity and effectively act as the clients claims advocate

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree and ARM: Associate in Risk Management or CRM: Certified Risk Manager- required
• 5-10 years in the insurance industry or business experience as an Insurance/Risk Management Consultant or Corporate Risk Manager

Compensation

$110k to $125k
