Claims Adjuster

McWhirter, Bellinger & Associates is seeking a Claims Adjuster with 3+ years of experience in handling property damage and bodily injury claims. This position will work directly with attorneys, adjusters, and clients during the negotiation phase of a case. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently as well as with others.  Reliability, communication, organization, time management, confidentiality, and the ability to multi-task are important skills for this position.

Skills and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows

·         Experience with paperless, case\claims management system

·         Maintain compassionate and positive attitude in service to our clients

·         Ensure negotiation documentation and records are included in the file

·         Confer with attorneys regarding the facts and value of the case

·         Communicate with insurance adjusters

·         Maintain frequent communication with clients during settlement negotiations
