Director of Homeowners Product Management

We are seeking a strong leader with insurance product management experience for a Product Management role. The position includes responsibility for managing the homeowners products and has the profit and loss accountability for homeowners line of business.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Continuously analyze whether the company is selling the right products to the right customer segments at the right price
• Contribute to the development of new products
• Analyze performance of products and execute on recommendations necessary to achieve financial goals
• Develop strategic vision and corresponding business plans
• Develop rate and rule pricing proposals for submission to departments of insurance and negotiate for approval to ensure rate adequacy and marketability
• Analyze competitive information as well as Company and industry data in consultation with Sales, Underwriting, Marketing, and other appropriate personnel

Skills & Experience

• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a business-related discipline (mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, insurance, or other related discipline preferred)
• At least three years of Personal Lines Product Management experience
• Strong analytical skills that support data driven decision making
• Prior experience running an Insurance Product Management team
• Prior experience with a top Personal Lines Homeowners writer
• Prior experience building a team

Compensation

$140,000 to $150,000
