How you will make an impact

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Procurement team for the enterprise
  • Direct, plan and develop the activities of the acquisition of goods and services and supervise those who buy goods and services across a broad range of commodities
  • Provide product evaluation, selection, and procurement at the best possible negotiated price for products and services, while meeting the needs of business areas
  • Serve as the data steward for the Procurement system (With purchase order approval authority)
  • Train, supervise, and assign work to team members
  • Manage printed materials and inventory maintenance for forms and envelopes
  • Manage vendors including request for proposals, request for quotes and invitation to bid
  • Conceive, develop, and deliver techniques, practices, and procedures for compliance administration in a matter that protects organizational goals
  • Develop, establish, implement, and enforce vendor guidelines, obligations, and service level agreements
  • Works with team to negotiate contracts based on established guidelines
  • Evaluate industry best practices, reviewing requisition process, and submit to Procurement leadership for improvement
  • Prepare, review, and present reports
  • Maintain all documentation on all department procedures
  • Participate in the development of new policies and procedures for the Corporate Procurement department
  • Compile specification information for Procurement leadership to review
  • Maintain vendor performance database and report metrics to Procurement leadership
  • Plan and submit budget for Procurement

Minimum Qualifications

  • Four (4) year completed degree in related field and/or relevant procurement work experience
  • Six to eight years' enterprise-wide procurement system knowledge (Inception through contract completion)
  • Two to five years' supervisory experience (Demonstrated success in leading a team)
  • Knowledge of Coupa or an alike procurement system
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Experience in analyzing data and preparing appropriate Procurement vendor contracts, goods, and service evaluations
  • Ability to analyze and recommend a vendor based on business needs
  • Experience in preparing written reports and analysis of expenditures and service contracts to Procurement leaders
  • Aptitude to train team members on the use of the enterprise Procurement system (Coupa) and its continued adoption across the organization and with vendors
