This role on the Field Operations Strategy and Practices team will support assigned Field Operations leader(s) as a chief of staff and thought partner, as well as a strategic consultant and project manager. In this role, the strategy director will: assist senior executives in making strategic decisions related to their business; design and lead project-related activities in the areas of strategy development and strategic planning, competitive differentiation, operating models, and strategic partnerships.

 

  • Lead overall strategy for a function including go to market strategies, organizational alignment, and M A/Strategic Partnerships.
  • Manage functional analyses and cross - functional integration required to support strategic business decisions, in the areas of: strategic planning, competitive differentiation, operating models, and M A and Strategic partnerships.
  • Lead overall strategy segment initiatives and supervise assigned strategy analysts in various projects and analyses, ensuring quality of work and proper communication among project members.
  • Collaborate closely with segment leadership in Product, and key leads for distribution and claims to help identify business issues that drive additional initiatives and proactive analyses.
  • Design plan for projects and analyses in support of functional executives.
  • Perform business analysis and evaluate the impact of alternative management decisions on function and financial performance. Source prospects, assess strategic fit and drive due diligence for M A and Strategic partnership opportunities.

Assist the GRS North America Field Operations senior executives in making and executing strategic decisions related to the overall distribution strategy and their respective go-to-market teams. Design and lead project-related activities in the areas of near-term strategy development and annual planning, competitive differentiation, operating models and operational efficiency, and cross-functional partnerships. Develop two-way thought-partner relationships with executives and managers, to inform strategy development and prioritization.

  • Lead overall strategy for Field Operations including go to market strategies and organizational alignment.
  • Design and lead project-related activities in the areas of near-term strategy development and annual planning, competitive differentiation, operating models and operational efficiency, and cross-functional partnerships.
  • Lead strategic and operational initiatives for Field Operations and supervise assigned analytics resources in various projects and analyses, ensuring quality of work and proper communication among project members.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-segment and cross-functional leaders and resources to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure alignment across GRS North America, GRS and Liberty Mutual, as applicable. Perform business analysis and evaluate the impact of alternative management decisions on Field Operations and financial performance. 

Advanced level of knowledge of financial analysis, marketing, technology, strategic planning, management. Strong written and oral communication skills to aid in interactions with senior management, other departments, and industry. Capabilities required include resiliency, adaptability, self-confidence, organized, achievement-orientated, collaborative, and openness to new experiences. Knowledge, skills are other capabilities are typically acquired through a MBA or equivalent and at least 10 years experience.
