The Position

Liberty Mutual Investments (LMI), a subsidiary of Liberty Mutual Insurance, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to assist with the reporting requirements related to its Investment portfolio, and will specialize in and manage the reporting requirements of our private credit investment strategy. The Investment portfolio, in general, includes a variety of instrument types including Bonds, Structure Securities, Equities, Loans, Alternative Investments and Derivatives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of financial reporting deliverables for monthly, quarterly, and annual book close activities related to the private credit portfolio
  • Assist with the analysis of private credit portfolio results for each portfolio for the front office
  • Work with third parties to ensure accurate and timely execution of private credit deliverables
  • Maintain the private credit economic trackers, which includes monthly reconciliation to source information
  • Assist with the preparation of executive team, portfolio management team and board deliverables.
  • Maintain of private credit dashboards, and the presentation of those dashboards to management
  • Assist with the maintenance LMI's process and control, and accounting policies and procedures, as it relates to private credit
  • Assist with the audit coordination with both internal and external auditors

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Working towards a CPA or CFA
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting or financial analysis
  • Experience with private credit, preferred
  • Proficiency of MS products
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
