Job Summary

The Corporate Governance group is responsible for managing: Corporate Governance work including but not limited to: Board and Committee Support, Company Structure, Other Advice and Counsel, and Parent Annual Meeting, Proxy Statement, Engagement. Regulatory and Regulatory Compliance including but not limited to: Securities Law Compliance (includingfilings), Corporate Governance matters related to Non-Profit Related Issues.

Key Responsibilities

This position will provide support to the manager and corporate secretarial team, supporting The Allstate Corporation Board in a fast paced, high profile environment. Some of the main duties include:
Scheduling activities with multiple internal and external participants such as Board and committee meetings, travel arrangements, internal and external business meetings, client or third-party appointments, conferences, and other events
Coordinating and maintaining Board prep meeting calendars. Proactively take responsibility for calendar management utilizing good judgment and initiative
Managing incoming/outgoing correspondence and independently draft routine and general responses
Preparing complex and confidential Board-level materials and correspondence using advanced software skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, and Zoom)
Working with senior officers, board members, and staff to assure needs are addressed in professional and timely manner
Displaying a strong aptitude for enterprise expense management processes with responsibility for compliance with budget and enterprise guidelines
Working autonomously to manage projects and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders
Identifying inconsistencies in routine work and initiate corrective action within team
Solving problems related to specific tasks with minimal supervision
Working under minimal supervision, exercising good judgment

Job Qualifications

Typically has 5-10 years prior experience in similar high paced, high profile environment
Advanced project management skills and experience interacting with senior management and board members
Knowledge of various work group functions and enterprise beyond team boundaries
Advanced communication skills
Advanced knowledge of required software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, Teams)
Advanced ability to multi-task multiple demands from board of directors, senior management, immediate manager and team members
Ability to train others across team boundaries
Ability to prioritize work, organize own time, and solve problems effectively
Able to effectively work remotely
Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Demonstrate ethics and integrity
Able to collaborate and interact with all levels of personnel and build strong relationships with business colleagues
Adapts well to change; able to multi-task and make effective decisions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Is pro-active and a self-starter who can manage his/her time effectively and work independently

Compensation Data

The minimum starting salary range for this position starts at $49,500 to a maximum of $89,600 (commensurate with experience).

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
