Job Summary

The Insurance Product Analyst II role is a great opportunity to contribute immediately to the profit and growth of a fortune 100 company. Youll design, develop, analyze and manage strategies and initiatives using problem-solving and analytical skills to achieve business goals for an assigned market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently conducts routine analysis on competitive position, analyzes business results, and articulates findings that support the development the local strategies to ensure business objectives are being achieved.
  • Understands and uses appropriate data sources and applications to conduct research
  • Begins leading smaller projects or pieces of larger projects
  • Tracks own performance and project timeline, communicating with business partners to set expectations
  • Manages multiple demands and shifting priorities
  • Begins building expertise in assigned target markets
  • Ensures project controls are in place throughout the lifecycle of the project on individually assigned tasks
  • Leverages working knowledge of product, pricing and risk management to support the development of local Underwriting and/or Line Management strategies and plans

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • 2+ years insurance-related experience preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and summarize data
  • Ability to effectively communicate industry data and metrics
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Tableau, and/or other analytical software
  • Intermediate knowledge of product, pricing, risk management and insurance regulations
  • Working knowledge and awareness of current industry trends/environment
  • Demonstrated collaboration and ability to work well with others
  • Ability to plan, implement, manage, and/or sponsor projects of medium complexity

Compensation Data

Compensation for this position will be$56,000 to $90,800/year. Actual salary offered will depend on selected candidate's experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
