IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for Supervisor of Homeowner's Property Claims that can be located in Naperville, Illinois, Raleigh, North Carolina, Scottsdale, Arizona, or Alpharetta, Georgia. This role will report directly to the Manager of Property Claims and will oversee the management of our moderate severity claims throughout the organization.


  • Manage complex to low severity homeowner property claims.
  • Oversee homeowner CAT claims as needed.
  • Provide property training as necessary.
  • Ensure that all claims are managed in compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
  • Oversee all processes and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Provide ongoing mentoring and guidance to staff.
  • Establish and maintain critical relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate responses to inquiries from regulators and stakeholders.
  • Ensure that any investigation/ settlement /reserve/coverage matter is appropriately managed.
  • Administer all staff performance reviews.
  • Work with the AVP of Property Claims on various matters as needed.
  • Travel as needed to attend meetings.
  • Supervise 6-8 claims adjusters.
  • Perform other duties as needed.


  • Bachelors' degree with 5+ years' of homeowners' property claims experience of equivalent.
  • Equivalent is defined as having 9+ years of relevant homeowners property claims experience.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred (IAT claims experience will be considered in lieu of supervisory experience.).
  • Mentoring experience is a must.
  • Must have a current claims adjuster license.
  • Must have the ability to work nights and weekend as necessary
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate internally and externally.
  • Advanced critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Superior attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to be a team lead.
