The Account Manager performs a variety of activities related to the day-to-day administration of Schwartz's Commercial Property & Casualty policies. This position works very closely with Senior Account Executives to help support, maintain, and grow the organization. This position must demonstrate good judgment and be able to address all types of customer service issues with decisiveness.

  • Service and support to clients, carriers, and other agency partners
  • Check Policies; Process Audits; Issue Binders; Certificates of Insurance; Create and Process Change Requests
  • Prepare Summaries of Insurance, proposals, quotes, and coverage recommendations
  • Take claim information, report, and follow up with the carriers
  • Utilize Online Rating systems and customer information
  • Perform Agency and Direct Billing Activities
  • Work directly with clients by phone or in person
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • 3+ years of Commercial Insurance experience
  • P&C License required
  • Continuing Insurance Education activities are viewed favorably
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with Applied EPIC and other integrated platforms is preferred, though not required
  • Ability to Multitask, Delegate and Manage workloads and meet deadlines
  • Be responsible, organized and a self-starter
