Adjuster: Commercial Auto & General Liability BI/PD- Remote in FL- PERM

Commercial Lines Auto 1st and 3rd party BI claims  &  General Liability BI & PD claims

Fast Track claims:  3-5+ years claims experience

Litigation experience is not required but is a plus.   To $65K based on experience

Liability Claims Specialist II 

Summary/General Description:
Responsible for the investigation, evaluation, settlement, and disposition of the more complex and higher exposure claims including auto liability and general liability. This includes the investigation, determination and evaluation of coverage, liability and damages, and the setting of proper reserves. 

Primary/Essential Duties and Functions:                                                                                 • Analyze claims exposures, determine the proper courses of action, and appropriately settle claims, evaluating evidence by interpreting facts within applicable legal frameworks to determine liability and claims values.  Develop settlement/litigation/defense strategies by evaluating information to settle claims in a cost-effective manner, work with defense attorneys and clients per account handling guidelines. Effectively handle subrogation on liability claims. 

Minimum Qualifications:                                                                                                                          *3-5 years claims handling with 2+ years handling all aspects of liability claims and subrogation with a consistent high level of performance and achievement.                                                                             *Active Florida All-Lines Adjuster License (5-20 or 6-20) and/or as required by any other state in which handling claims.                                                                                                                                         *Willing to travel for mediations, to accounts for status reporting, to accident scenes or loss locations for investigation purposes, as necessary
