Job Summary

The Product Manager is responsible for leading 'day to day', 'sprint to sprint', 'release to release', and 'product to product' activities, related to building data products and/or software products/services. The role works with a medium agile team to represent the customer in defining requirements within agile ceremonies. The Product Manager must understand the product/service vision by managing and prioritizing the product backlog.

Key Responsibilities

Leads effective brainstorming, structures strategic conversations with help, and is the go/to expert for Product & Features
Communicates Clearly to Business Stakeholders, Writes & gives presentations to Department
Considered by peers as strong thought partner
Participates in Group Meetings, Leads and Facilitates Product Team Meetings, Reactively solves problems with other Product Teams
Uses basic story writing, bugs, roadmap mgmt. tools, basic analytics, constructs prototypes successfully
Writes specs/stories for big features with little-no errors
Delivers big features and small products with little-no bugs on time
Prioritizes value over effort and communicates options effectively
Uses measurement and analytics effectively pre- and post- launch
Familiar with the user science tools, uses survey tools successfully and without bias

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job does not have supervisory duties

Preferred Qualifications

Education and Experience
3 or more years of related experience
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
SAFe Agilest, SAFe PO/PM, 3Back, or formal Agile certification training desired

Functional Skills
Demonstrated ability leading teams (agile teams preferred).
Basic understanding of product development concepts.
Ability to create and facilitate formal presentations and demos to stakeholders.
Demonstrated clear, concise and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others across multiple office locations and develop strong stakeholder relationships.
Demonstrated ability to think critically and make sound business decisions.
