Independent Property Adjuster - North Country NY

We are seeking a motivated individual to handle property losses in the North Country of NYS including the areas (but not limited to) of Potsdam, Ogdensburg, Plattsburgh, Massena, Malone, Lake Placid and surrounding areas. Applicant must live in or around the area to handle day to day work including field inspections.

Job consists of working out of your home office, meeting with property owners, inspecting (including occasional roof inspections) and assessing damages and cost to repair using estimating software, and reporting to our office and various insurance carriers. Pay is based off commission.

Basic computer skills are needed and must have reliable transportation. Individual must be organized, self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic. Some construction experience is a plus but not necessary. Previous experience is highly desired, we are willing to train the right individual but must have NYS Fire or General Adjusters license to begin training for this position, per NYS guidelines.
