Data Reporting Analyst

Position Summary:

MIS is seeking an entry to mid-level Data Reporting Specialist to support the Data Reporting Team with various client reporting deliverables. The candidate will report to the Director of Data Reporting and Regulatory Compliance. Willing to train the right candidate including recent college graduates with accounting, finance, or mathematics degree that enjoy working with data. Must be proficient in working with Excel and large amounts of data.

Responsibilities:

• Extract premium and claims data using Tableau and other reporting tools
• Quarterly general liability and inland marine ISO reporting
• Quarterly and annual preparation of financial calls for NCCI and independent bureaus 
• Prepare various premium report for clients
• Other projects as needed to support Data Reporting Team

Key skills for position:

• Technical – Manipulate & process large volumes of records within Text and Excel and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Analytical/Research - Assess a situation, seek multiple perspectives, gather more information if necessary, and identify key issues that need to be addressed.
• Communication - Communicate clearly with internal and external clients via phone and email.

Requirements:

• Local Candidates only authorized to work in the US
• BA/BS degree in accounting, finance or mathematics
• Preferred 2 to 3 years of experience in data reporting or analyst role

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
