Cybersecurity Manager Identity Access Management

 

Liberty Mutual' s Global Cybersecurity organization is actively searching for a highly motivated and passionate Cybersecurity manager, aligned to the Business Process and Governance team within the Identity and Access Management organization. The primary responsibility is to provide coaching, guidance, and support to a team of cybersecurity specialists accountable for the governance and business process practice for all Liberty Mutual's Identity and Access Management solutions. The manager will be expected to align with the Product Owner to ensure clear deliverables for the team and help the team execute various initiatives.

 

This team goal is to realize our vision to continuously improve the way we work, ensure security is embedded and enabling, improve the customer experience, and deliver innovative solutions rapidly.

 

In this role you will

 

  • Provide leadership by directing and overseeing the design, development and implementation of Identity and Access standards and controls.
  • Transform team using cybersecurity, Lean and systems thinking approaches to drive operational effectiveness through automation, collaboration and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Assist with and/or prepare metrics demonstrating progress against operational objectives.
  • Establish a motivating work environment and help develop talent through effective hiring, coaching and mentoring.
  • Develop and measure performance objectives, define development plans and make individual compensation recommendations.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Engineering teams and Global Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance functions to enable and optimize the delivery of prioritized work.
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement utilizing Agile practices and delivering value.
  • Assist with coordinating the resolution of audit and compliance findings.

Qualifications

 

  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, a personal growth mindset, and customer centricity.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in a technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of leading development/engineering teams utilizing Agile practices.
  • Experience with LEAN Principles/Practices, IGA, SSO, MFA and other IAM capabilities is a plus.
  • Practice with managing product vendors and associated budgets.
  • Experience managing vendor/partners and off-shore relationships
  • Excellent consultative, negotiation, collaborations, communication and presentation and skills.
  • While not required to hire any candidate must be willing and able to work towards obtaining a cybersecurity professional certification within the first year of employment (CISA, CISM, CRISC).
