Commercial Umbrella Underwriter

About the Role

Nation’s leading Commercial Umbrella Underwriting facility offers opportunity to work remote anywhere within the US. The Commercial Umbrella Underwriter will review and analyze underwriting data in order to determine if risks meet corporate underwriting standards for Umbrella/Excess Casualty suite of products.

Duties & Responsibilities

Underwrite, analyze, authorize risk acceptability, determine profitable rate/price, and prepare quotations/binders on all aspects of new and renewal business.

Skills & Experience

• At least five (5) years of experience in underwriting commercial Umbrella/Excess business, which includes knowledge of commercial automobile and general liability underwriting or ten (10) years of experience in underwriting commercial casualty accounts
• Excellent problem solving/decision making skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize as appropriate

Compensation, Benefits, & Perks
