Market Research Analyst - Annuities

About the Role

This well-respected insurance company is seeking a Market Research/Competitive Intelligence Analyst for their fixed indexed annuity division. In this role, you will be responsible for research, analysis, and reporting of competitor actions with the goal of providing recommendations for product development efforts and product market positioning.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of new products including, but not limited to, marketing, marketing services, actuarial, and compliance
• Monitor, review, and document competitor actions including rate changes, promotions, new product filings, and other changes daily
• Prepare reports of all competitive intelligence gathered and disseminate internally with analysis and business impact included in the report
• Assist in preparing reports for senior leadership summarizing competitor actions and impact over the past month
• Travel to and actively participate in the LIMRA Annuity Research Study Group and the Retirement Industry Conference annually

Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years of experience working in a similar role with competitive intelligence or market research
• Life and annuity experience required
• Proven experience turning research data into actionable business improvements

Compensation, Benefits, & Perks

$65k to $80k + full benefits package + hybrid work schedule
