Business Development Manager

Compass Adjusting Services is growing Independent Adjusting Company focused on being the best property claims service provider in the industry.

Compass has experienced year over year growth, mostly by word of mouth since our inception in 2005. The Business Development Manager will play an integral part in driving new customer growth and retention.

The ideal candidate:

• 3+ years’ experience in sales/marketing/account management in our industry
• Has a network of established contacts
• Detail oriented, fast learner, self-starter
• Excellent verbal and written communication, enthusiasm and professionalism
• Strong people skills, good communicator, strong sales and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and driven, high level of integrity, positive attitude, goal-oriented
• Insurance industry experience is a HUGE Plus!

What you will be doing:

• Sell, promote and market Compass Adjusting’s services to Insurance Carriers and TPAs
• Open new doors, create new relationships, and expand our customer base
• Manage current client relationships and explore opportunities to enhance them
• Develop and manage sales plans to increase sales effectiveness.
• Attend trade shows, conferences and industry functions as required to keep informed on activities and changes in the Property Claims Industry
• Assist in management of Social Media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
