CapSpecialty® is seeking a business-focused Claims Administrative Specialist to assist with their Claims team.

While delivering service excellence, this position will be responsible for indexing incoming mail, handling incoming phone calls, and providing clerical claims support with high productivity and excellent customer service skills. The Claims Administrative Specialist will also assist on special projects as needed.

Education & Experience:

  • High school degree, or equivalent.
  • 2 years of insurance or customer service experience.
  • Claims support experience is preferred but not required.

Essential skills:

  • Knowledge of basic insurance concepts, and personal computer and software programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead, to manage change, and to encourage a team-based approach.
  • Strong analytical, creative and organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proven demonstration of a high level of initiative, the ability to productively work independently and problem solve.
  • Technically competent in all standard business software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
