Job Summary

**We are open to applicants in the Dallas / Fort Worth, TX and Charlotte, NC markets to work from our strategic local offices.**

The Network Security Operations Engineer designs, develops, and deploys portions of cloud and local systems, applications, and technical solutions to provide and maintain cybersecurity for the organization technology architecture and products working with the Network Security Operation team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis and evaluation of business technology needs, security, and systems requirements
  • Develop specifications and performs development, integration, and programming activities for portions of cybersecurity applications, systems, and solutions
  • Coordinateand communicateon potential threats and provides feedback on potential and known vulnerabilities
  • Developtesting plans and scripts to assess risk for technology applications, systems, and solutions
  • Conduct code, systems, and process reviews to identify areas of potential vulnerability
  • Developportions of diagnostics, tools, and patches to assess and mitigate intrusions and attacks
  • Develop and expandtechnical knowledge and capability to communicate and explain complex technical topics to less-experienced team members

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
  • 3+years of industry experience


Functional Skills

  • Intermediate decision-making skills and ability to escalate when appropriate
  • Ability to establish and manage relationships with internal and external partners
  • Intermediate time and project management skills including ability to prioritize and organize
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Perform well in a face-paced environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to think conceptually, analytically and creatively
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and apply it to problem resolution


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations (preferred)

  • GIAC Python Coder (GPYC) for SOC Engineers
