Commercial Insurance CSR

About the Role

We’re looking for someone with a few years of insurance industry experience who wants to grow their career in a customer service role. Working in an office with 20-30 employees, you’ll join a regional, independent Chicago insurance agency.  They have an opening for a Commercial Lines CSR. Here are a few details on the role supporting producers and account managers with policy administration:

• Billing
• Creating Acord apps
• Processing endorsement requests
• Issuing ID cards
• Obtaining premium finance quotes
• Getting loss runs
• Information gathering and data entry to compile proposals

Skills & Experience

• Approximately 1-3 years of career experience in commercial property and casualty insurance
• Customer service and policy administration background at an insurance company, wholesale broker or agency

Job Specs

The accounts are generalist and a mixture of many different industries ranging from heavy industrial and local transport to professional and private equity owned firms.

Most policies are over $100k in premium, some reaching $1MM, so this is a fast paced team that will keep you challenged. There are plenty of opportunities to grow deeper in your insurance knowledge because you’ll support two Account Executives with a combined 50 years of experience.
