Job Title: Bureau Compliance Supervisor- Statistical Reporting Analyst

Job Summary:

The Bureau Compliance Supervisor or Statistical Reporting Analyst is responsible for all statutory reporting, data call submissions and statistical reporting, maintains SOX compliance with regard to month end balancing, and complete additional special projects as needed.
Maintain the membership and affiliations with bureaus required in each licensed state.

Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Gather, aggregate and submit all regulatory mandated reports including surplus lines and catastrophe reports.
  • Receive, research, gather data, and timely submit all regulatory mandated data calls.
  • Monitor and balance daily, monthly, and quarterly premium and loss data via database queries and system reports, providing results to accounting and IT.
  • Work with third party vendors and internal system data to compile statistical reporting files and submit those to ISO, ISS and AAIS as required and below tolerance thresholds.
  • Approve payment of bills from bureaus and assessment organizations,allocating expenses to appropriate business units.
  • Annually compile system 1099 data and provide data to accounting in usable format
  • Perform duties of ISO system administrator as needed for logins, affiliations and data submissions.
  • Maintain and coordinate LAD/CLAD agreements.
  • Maintain membership and affiliations with regulatory bureaus.
  • Interact with auditors on an as needed basis, collect and provide data as requested.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or 5-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Advanced knowledge of ISO statistical reporting requirements, insurance terminology and coverages.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work in a team environment and be flexible to daily changing needs and job duties.
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve, working closely with others to coordinate and complete projects.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Computer Skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills especially Excel and Access.
