Synergy Insurance Group, Inc has a growing commercial insurance department and is looking to add another member to the agency’s team to further develop and service commercial accounts. We are seeking an individual who will contribute to the team in a number of ways and help support all the needs of our clients. This individual will be responsible for the servicing, risk management and sales activities for commercial clients. They will be expected to follow established industry and company guidelines as well as meet all performance requirements regarding production and quality. Primary responsibility will include managing a book of business and increasing account retention in addition to the ability to resolve client service problems. May also be responsible for account expansion and cross-selling, while maintaining a primary focus on client retention.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage client accounts as an intermediary for the Producer, including one-on-one client consultations, preparing and presenting Account Summaries, reviewing coverages and policy changes as well as negotiating/closing new business and renewals

• Responsible for directing day-to-day activities and workflow assigned to the department, which includes efficiency and prioritization of tasks, open communications on activity, and monitoring progress to ensure responsibilities and timelines are met

• Management and execution of a variety of customer service, account management, risk management and value-added service including but not limited to: account activity; policy administration and insurance placement; billing activity; claims reporting; client review for insurability; review policy forms and endorsements; review audits; identify errors and take corrective actions; Certificates of Insurance; Evidences of Property; and Cancellation/Reinstatements

• Handle policy expirations for existing clients and works in advance to ensure proper actions are taken to ensure renewals and confirm all new and renewal insurance policies are bound, billed and issued accurately and delivered to the client within timely manner.

• Assist with placement of new business policies and independently process policy renewals

• Consistently provide excellent client service at all times, including proactively anticipating needs, responding quickly to service requests and maintaining frequent and professional communication

• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualified candidates will have:

• Preferred 3+ years of commercial lines account management experience

• Maintain a current 2-20 insurance license

• Outstanding customer service skills

• Strong multi-tasking, organizational and decision-making skills

• Professional verbal/written communication skills

• Ability to maintain high level of accuracy while performing large work volumes

• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, Adobe and agency management system

• Exceptional personal character, including a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to assist others at all times
