Liability Claim Supervisor

The Liability Claim Supervisor will be responsible for the investigation and management of medical professional liability and general liability claims for insured hospitals, physicians and other health care providers in Missouri, Illinois and Kansas.

The Liability Claim Supervisor will supervise the investigation of claims not in suit performed by outside and in-house claim investigators. The individual will also be responsible to manage lawsuits filed against insureds that are defended by outside defense counsel.

The supervisor will be responsible to establish and adjust reserves during the life of a claim and evaluate whether the claim should be settled or proceed to trial. The supervisor will also be responsible for the settlement of claims within the settlement authority granted. The Liability Claim Supervisor will report to the Director of Claims.
